BDC Summer 2026 - Weekly Classes

Summer Class Schedule 2026

Summer Session: JuLY 5-August 21 (SIX WEEKS)

Class Descriptions by Age Group

Dancers should register by age group, or if levels are listed, by their winter|spring class level. New dancers are welcome and should contact mail@bainbridgedancecenter.com with questions about placement.

Tumble & Dance (ages 4 & under accompanied by an adult)

Crawl through tunnels, balance on the beam & learn to summersault! This class combines dance and gymnastics with music, movement, tumbling and more. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This class is offered twice a week, giving families flexible scheduling options. If you enroll in one day per week, you’re welcome to attend the other day as a make-up whenever you miss a class.

Music & Dance (ages 3-6)

Music & Dance is the perfect class for dancers ready to attend class on their own. Dancers learn the fundamentals of ballet technique and creative movement, play rhythm games, dance with scarves, sing songs and engage in imaginative play. These classes are offered twice a week, giving families flexible scheduling options. If you enroll in one day per week, you’re welcome to attend the other day as a make-up whenever you miss a class.

Ballet, Tap & Hip Hop (ages 7-9)

Join us this summer for an exciting selection of dance classes designed especially for ages 7–9! We are offering a wonderful variety of dance forms, including Ballet, Tap, and Hip Hop, giving young dancers the opportunity to explore different styles and discover what they love.

Each class focuses on building foundational technique, musicality, coordination, and confidence in a positive and supportive environment. Whether your dancer is continuing their training or stepping into the studio for the very first time, our summer program provides a fun and engaging experience.

Intermediate Classes (ages 10-13)

Dancers ages 10–13 (BDC Levels 4|6|7) are invited to continue their growth and training throughout the summer. Our summer program includes classes in Ballet, Strength Training, Yoga Stretch, and Hip Hop. This well-rounded schedule is designed to build strength, flexibility, technique, and style to help dancers stay conditioned and prepare for the upcoming dance year.

Families may register for classes which run for the entire six-week session (for example registering for Tuesday Intermediate Ballet from 4-5:30pm). Or families can purchase a 10-Class Card which can be used for any intermediate-level summer class (such as applying a card towards two full weeks of classes in August of Hip Hop, Ballet and Yoga).

Advanced Classes (ages 14-18)

Dancers ages 14–18 (BDC Levels 8 & 9) are strongly encouraged to continue their training throughout the summer months. Consistent summer study helps maintain strength, refine technique, and prepare dancers for continued growth in the upcoming season.

Weekly classes include Advanced Ballet and Strength Training, offering focused, high-level instruction designed to support technical development, artistry, and overall conditioning. This program provides a structured yet flexible way for advanced dancers to stay challenged and inspired.

Families may register for classes which run for the entire six-week session (for example registering for Tuesday Advanced Ballet from 5:30-7:00). Or families can purchase a 10-Class Card which can be used for any advanced-level summer class (such as applying a card towards two full weeks of classes in August of Ballet, Strength and Yoga).
