BDC Nutcracker 2026

BDC Nutcracker Performances will be Dec 6-12 at Grace Episcopal Church. Rehearsals will be on Saturdays or Sundays at BDC. Dancers attend different days and times depending on casting. Rehearsals for younger students are typically 30min to an hour a week starting in October. Older students (levels 5, 6|7, 8, & 9) typically rehearse 2-3 hours per week starting in September.

BDC Nutcracker Auditions: Sept 12 & 13

Nutcracker auditions will be at Bainbridge Dance Center and will consist of a short ballet class. Students will then learn Nutcracker choreography. Arrive for your audition in ballet or modern dance attire. Either is fine. Auditions are by class placement for Fall 2026.

Students in levels 5, 6|7, 8 & 9 should prepare a short solo (1-2 min long) such as a ballet variation, self-choreographed work, improvisation or favorite piece of repertory. Please reach out if you need clarification or inspiration. You are also welcome to prepare a duet with a friend.
