BDC Summer 2026 - Camps & Intensives
Little Dancer Camp (ages 5-6)
Twirl, leap, and imagine at our magical summer dance camp designed for ages 5–6. This joyful week of movement introduces young dancers to the enchanting world of ballet stories, where they’ll bring beloved tales to life through creative movement and expressive dancing. Dancers will also explore dances from around the world, discovering how different cultures tell stories through music and movement. Along the way, dancers will build coordination, musicality, and confidence in a fun and nurturing environment.
Each day includes themed crafts that connect to the stories and dances they’re learning—adding creativity and hands-on fun to their camp experience. Join us for a week filled with imagination, movement, and smiles as our little dancers learn, create, and shine!
This camp will be held in two sessions—July 6–10 and August 3–7. Dancers may register for one session or attend both.

Intermediate Dance Intensive (ages 10-14)
BDC’s Intermediate Intensive is an exciting weeklong summer experience designed to inspire and challenge young dancers. Geared toward BDC students ages 10-14 (currently training in Levels 4, 6, and 7) this immersive program includes daily technique classes, the study and performance of both classical and contemporary choreography, as well as composition, stretching, and conditioning to build strength and flexibility.
Each year, BDC brings in outside teachers and new artists to work with our students, offering unique styles, diverse backgrounds, and innovative approaches to movement. This exposure not only strengthens technical skills but also broadens artistic expression and creativity. Previous guest teachers have included renowned artists such as Brian Lawson (NYC), Emma Lawes (LA), Elise Knudsen (San Francisco), Janet Charleston (NYC), and Kaitlyn Nguyen (Seattle) — each bringing their own distinctive voice and professional experience to our dancers.
The week culminates in a special performance for family and friends, giving dancers the opportunity to showcase their hard work and growth. Join us for a focused, energizing week of movement, creativity, and artistic development!
